To ensure the preservation of a number of cultural objects within the collection, of which one can point out the Portuguese Royal House’s gala vehicles, harnesses and other accessories of cavalry, musical instruments of the Royal Band, uniforms, weapons and symbolic instruments of the Royal House’s staff and value them through technical and historical research of its origins, construction, manufacture, materials, operation, owners, users and context of use.
