Promenade vehicle for children, built by Cesare Sala of Milan, given by King Vittorio Emanuel II of Italy, father of Queen Maria Pia, to his grandson Prince Carlos, future king of Portugal.
It has an open body and imitates, on a small scale, the adults´vehicles.
It is equally refined in the smallest details, having the crowned monogram of King Carlos.
The roof is topped by silver crown-shaped knobs.
The body is suspended by C-shaped, steel springs and is entered by folding steps.
