Procession of the Embassy sent to the Holy See by King João V in 1709 having as diplomat to the King of Portugal, the viscount of Vila Nova do Souto d’El-Rei, André de Melo e Castro.
The procession comprised six extraordinary luxurious coaches. The decoration alludes to the Portuguese epopee. |
